Founders
Creactivity is a dream of two women who were born and raised in Italy. It comes from a true passion about teaching about our Country and Homeland. It aims to create an Italian community and a "big Italian family" where everybody has a sense of belonging. We want to interact, learn with you, learn from you and make people joining us feel like they are at home.
Valentina Gandini
Born and raised in Milano, Italia and studied foreign languages in High School (English, German and Russian). Graduated in Clinical Psychology with honors at the Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca. Lived abroad for the past ten years. Worked at the Ulm University and TU Dresden, in Germany, as a researcher in Psychology. Moved to the Bay Area and during several internships at the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group started teaching Italian to adults for IDESLI. Worked as a Pre-K Head Teacher at La Scuola, International Italian School of San Francisco, with different age groups. Teaches Italian to adults privately and for IDESLI and ABC Languages. Additionally teaches kindergarten and elementary at La Scuola and running a preK homeschooling program inspired by Reggio Emilia in the San Francisco East Bay.
Roberta Abussi
Roberta was born and raised in a small town near Ferrara and Bologna, called Cento. She has a University degree in European languages and cultures (Universita’ di Modena e Reggio Emilia). Working with children of all ages has always been her passion; She's always loved to see them growing and be by their side while learning. Her other passion is teaching Italian and Creactivity provides the opportunity to combine the two. Her focus is for children and adults to have fun while learning a new language through a unique an unforgettable experience.
